Who we're working with:
Melting It Productions
Our Origin Story...
In 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, founder, Andy Bell, had a vision that he wanted to bring together a collective of the most talented people he’d worked with during his 20-year career at the BBC. His idea was that these people, who made incredible audio, video, and photographic content, could continue to do so with a level of freedom and creativity that they were unable to express previously.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
What will it cost to make a video? This is always the number one question. Because we're a bespoke service, every film we make is designed with and around you. That means the price can fluctuate depending on which services you take. If you're considering making a video there are things you need to consider: - What quality would you like the final product delivered in? - How many cameras do you require? (More camera angles make the final product better to watch) - Do you require actors or voiceover work? - Do you want us to edit the footage we gather? Our rates depend on all of the above but a single camera gathering footage for a very basic short video start at £400.
-
Can you edit my video too?Yes! We offer a end-to-end service from planning your video right through to delivery. We have specialist video editors who are experts in colour grading, editing and delivery in a range of formats, aspect ratios and file sizes.
-
Do you do social media videos?Social media is an art form and requires careful planning and execution. Our team are specialists in understanding sizes, formats, aspect ratios and design to make sure your social media video stands out from the crowd. Whether you're making content for TikTok, YouTube, Facebook or Instagram we can help you out. And, if you're more of a LinkedIn human, we can help you out with that too!
-
Do you do corporate videos?100%. We have several long-standing industry clients that we've built a relationship with. Some are small businesses wanting promotional videos making and others are multi-million pound industries needed internal videos. We specialise in delivering the right tone and content for our customers. Drop us a line if you'd like some more information.
-
Do you do subtitle work?We always offer a subtitling option for videos that we've produced and we have a proven track record of creating subtitles in several languages. We don't, however, offer stand alone subtitling for content we haven't produced. This is because we can't guarantee accuaracy when using someone else's footage.
-
What is a drone video?Drone videos are high quality videos taken from a remotely operated unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). Flying a drone allows you to gather footage with a birds eye view, from large landscapes to objects that are inaccessible from the ground. Drone videos offer an incredible, cinematic feel to any film.
-
How much does it cost?We offer our drone pilots out on a day rate basis of £400. The reason behind this is all of the safety checks, risk assessments, paperwork and planning that must, legally, go into every commercial piloting job. The editing of your video or photographs will be an additional expense and is based upon the length of time it requires.
-
What drone services do you offer?Drone aerial filming – using one of our 4K enabled drones to film an area, landscape, building or subject. Aerial photographs - using one of our 4K enabled drones to photograph an area, landscape, building or subject. Building and site surveying – using the 4K enabled drone to survey a building, roof, construction site or area of development
-
Why should I use a drone for my project?Using a drone for your filming project can add a unique, cinematic perspective to your video content. Drones allow us to capture breathtaking aerial shots and dynamic camera movements that would be challenging or impossible to achieve with traditional filming equipment. This technology can elevate the production value of your project and provide viewers with a fresh and engaging viewing experience. Additionally, drones can be cost-effective, as they eliminate the need for expensive helicopter rentals or complex rigging systems.
-
What is a podcast?Essentially, a podcast is an audio programme similar to a radio show but packaged up and available for your listeners to access on demand. Podcasts are usually series of episodes focused onto a specific subject that allow listeners to engage with a subject they relate to.
-
What does it cost to make a podcast?Podcasting costs depend entirely on what you want your final product to sound like. Are you creating a series of podcasts that are one on one interviews? Or are you making a 10-part documentary series? Maybe you're considering an edgy, immersive cacophany of sound! Do you need help with recording, editing, hosting, or all three? We offer bespoke products for our clients and it's difficult to put a number on it without knowing your exact circumstances. That being said our single person day rates for production and editing are £250 per day.
-
Do you record and edit podcasts?Yes. We offer both services as a stand alone or packaged together. If you've already recorded your audio, we can offer a range of editing services to create your finished product. Or, if you need some help recording, we can use our professional audio recording equipment to gather crystal clear audio for your podcast. If you'd like something more end-to-end, we can record, edit and host your podcast.

Do all of our guests have to be in the same place?Having guests in the same room is always preferable but not always practical. We have specialist contribution software that allows us to record remotely in the highest possible quality. So if your guest is 3000 miles away, don't worry, we can make sure the conversation sounds as close as possible to you being in the same room.
